Highway of Tears

48 Hours recently did a story on ‘The Highway of Tears’ which is a highway that runs through my reserve (The Stellat’en First Nation, B.C.) and my hometown (Fraser Lake, B.C.). It is called ‘The Highway of Tears’ because women have been disappearing since the 1970s. This is the same highway that I would run alongside when I was training for track and field, the same highway that me and my friends would take to get to some untouched camping sites and the same highway that I would drive back and forth to Fraser Lake and Stellaqo to visit family and friends.

Please watch the story done by ’48 Hours’. If you know any information about ‘The Highway of Tears’ and the serial killers that are trolling Highway 16 please inform your local police authorities.
